Staying at a traditional Japanese ryokan is a unique experience, and breakfast is an important part of it. A typical breakfast includes several small dishes, steamed rice, miso soup, grilled fish, and seasonal vegetables, all beautifully presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though my children love Japanese food, they found a traditional ryokan breakfast a little challenging at first. The flavors are quite different from a typical Western breakfast, but it's a wonderful opportunity to discover authentic Japanese cuisine and local food culture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
