This item is a PDF sewing pattern for making comfortable leggings for a baby or young child using the fabric of your choice.
The “Monkey Spats” are close-fitting trousers that can be worn on their own or under a dress or skirt. Soft and comfortable, these leggings allow little ones to move freely and help protect their legs when they begin crawling and exploring their surroundings. They also help keep them warm.
We recommend using a stretch knit fabric, such as cotton jersey, to make this design. You can also use a different fabric for the back panel to create an original or two-tone pair of leggings.
