What you will need

Choose a non-stretch woven fabric suitable for making children’s pants.

You will also need:

– elastic suitable for the child’s waist measurement;
– matching thread
– a sewing machine
– a pair of scissors or a rotary cutter;
– sewing pins or clips
– an iron

If you do not have an overlocker, you can use a zigzag stitch on a regular sewing machine to finish the seams.
